A digital economy requires human capabilities to interact with evolving technologies. We cannot expect tasks to be predictable: uncertainty demands that workers learn, adapt, and proactively solve problems (Stream 1). Networked operations (Stream 2) lead to more interdependence and thus a greater demand for relational skills. Stream 3 will support the capability transitions that these changes require of Australian workers. This is the ‘who' of future work.
